| The art department is very pleased to announce the beginning of a new organization at Pace High. This organization's purpose is to inspire and recognize students who have shown outstanding ability in art. The NAHS strives to aid members in working toward the attainment of the hest standards in the art areas, and to bring art education to the attention of the school and community. For students to achieve high standards, art programs must maintain a substantive focus by choosing art content that includes complex problem-solving and higher order thinking skills, and serious alignment of curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional development that results in student learning. The NAHS begins its 29th year with 2,666 chapters. Mrs. Julia Bragg and Mrs. Kathleen Tracey will sponsor this organization. Students who demonstrate the above abilities will be receiving a letter recommending their membership in the National Art Honor Society in October. News: |
