Beta Club Requirements

1. Members must attend 8 of 10 formal Beta Club meetings. For each meeting missed, members will be required to complete 1 additional service hour. The sponsor expects all members to do their best to attend each meeting. Attendance at meetings is an integral part of active membership in any organization.

2. Members must maintain a 3.0 GPA

3. Members must pay the required local due ($5.00). New members must pay both national and local dues ($23.00)
after they have been selected for membership.

4. Members must sign the honor code in their agenda planners.

5. Members must attend the induction ceremony for new members. members will be required to complete 5 additional service hours for missing the induction ceremony.

6. Members must complete 20 service hours during the course of the school year. Hours added due to missed meetings or inductions will not count as part of the initial 20 hour requirement. Service hour must be recorded on the official Beta Club form will be counted toward this requirement. See Mrs. Mitchell if you need additional forms.

7. As well as completing 20 service hours, members are required to participate in several of the club's established projects. For example, members will be expected to donate for for Thanksgiving project and $5.00 for the Christmas project. Students will be given advance notice of all mandatory service projects.

8. Members must strive to maintain the Beta Club goals of character and leadership.

** Failure to meet any of these requirements may result in your dismissal form Beta Club**

ACTIVE membership is required from all  members of the Beta Club!
Being an ACTIVE member means attending meetings and participating in club activities. "Let us lead by serving others" is the Beta Club motto
