Student Scholarship Opportunities are listed below. Contact the guidance department at 850-995-3600 ext. 1109 for more information on scholarships listed below.

• Juniors interested in obtaining a Congressional Nomination to one of the US Service Academies for the class entering in the summer of 2011 should start the application process soon.   Applications can be accessed online at http://billnelson.senate.gov now through September 24.  Questions regarding the nomination or appointment process can be answered at (407) 872-7161 or (888) 671-4091.
  
• ATTENTION SENIORS: Do you participate in at least one sport? Are you a leader in your school and your community? Apply NOW for the 2010 Wendy’s High School Heisman.  Visit www.wendysheisman.com to register and begin the application process.  The first 41,000 students to complete an application will win a Wendy’s Gift Card.  Applications are due by October 3, 2010. 
  
• AES Engineers is pleased to be announce a $500 scholarship opportunity.   Students must submit an essay of no more than 1000 words in answer to one of the two questions that are posted on the site:    http://www.aesengineers.com/scholarships.php.  Deadline for entry is October 8, 2010.

• Most colleges and universities are offering Open Houses, go online to find the dates and make a visit.
